Chad Pettingill grew up in Northern Utah. He started playing golf at a very young age at Valley View golf course in Layton, Utah were his father was the PGA Golf Professional for 35 years. The time he spent with his father at the golf course was the main reason Chad become a PGA Golf Professional.
Chad graduated from the University of Utah in Business Management and played on the university golf team where he lettered all 4 years. In 1997, shortly after graduation, Chad turned professional and moved with his wife, Melissa Winegar Pettingill, to Scottsdale Arizona to start his professional career with Troon Golf at Kierland Golf Club. Chad spent the next 14 years working for Troon Golf at various clubs around the country including: Kierland GC in Scottsdale AZ, Eagle Ridge GC in Galena Ill, Anthem CC in Anthem AZ, Moon Valley CC in Phoenix AZ, Badlands GC in Las Vegas NV, Bahia Beach CC in Puerto Rico and Diablo Grande G&CC in Patterson CA.
Most recently, Chad has been the Director of Golf at Red Hawk Golf & Country Club in Sparks, NV. Chad has a family of 6 with wife Melissa, daughter Kenady (13), twin boys Tanner & Jaxon (10) and Landen (8). The are a lively bunch that like to spend time together golfing, hiking and playing all kinds of sports. Chad is very excited to be returning home to work at The Jeremy Golf & Country Club. |
